Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms govern your use of ResumeTailor. By using the service you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
What the service does
ResumeTailor rewrites and reorganizes the resume you provide to better match a specific job description, produces an ATS keyword-gap score, and lets you download the tailored resume as DOCX and PDF after a one-time payment.
No guarantee of results
We help you present your existing experience more effectively. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or that any particular applicant tracking system will rank your resume in a specific way. Hiring outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
Accurate information and no fabrication
We rewrite what you give us — we do not invent employers, dates, degrees, certifications, or numbers. You are responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information in your resume and for reviewing the output before you use it.
Pricing and payment
Seeing your ATS score and a preview is free. Downloading the full tailored resume is a one-time payment shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may apply.
Refunds
If your purchase fails to deliver or the result is not what was described, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. Because the product is delivered digitally and instantly, refunds are otherwise at our reasonable discretion.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading content you do not have the right to use, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
Your content and ownership
You keep all rights to the resume content you provide and to the tailored output you download; it is yours to use. The ResumeTailor name, site, and software remain our property.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
